Uses for the Cisco SSL VPN AnyConnect Client:
1. Connect to campus files from home
2. Connect to the “Cats PAWS” wireless network.
First open Safari or another internet browser.
Type https://sslvpn.uvm.edu or use the alternative route by going through www.uvm.edu/it/software > software download > enter credentials > click MAC OS X > AnyConnect VPN Client version 2.5.1025
Once the page loads you will need to login using your UVM NetID and password (same username and password you use to login to your UVM email).
A box will appear, click the “Continue” button.
A box will appear, click the “Allow” button so that installer will run.
The connection should now be established. The Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client has successfully connected.
The connection can be controlled from the lock icon in your dock.
